Three held with narcotics in two raids

PANJIM: One UK national, and two domestic tourists from Himachal Pradesh and Tamil Nadu were arrested with narcotics in two separate raids conducted by Anti Narcotics Cell (ANC) sleuths on Wednesday.

PANJIM: One UK national, and two domestic tourists from Himachal Pradesh and Tamil Nadu were arrested with narcotics in two separate raids conducted by Anti Narcotics Cell (ANC) sleuths on Wednesday. 

A 46-year-old UK citizen was caught with 17 gms of suspected MDMA and 32 ecstasy tablets weighing 13 gms, while the 29-year-old Chennai native was found in possession of Methamphetamine and LSD weighing 40gms, all worth Rs 5.86 lakh at Praisa Waddo, Una, Bardez. 

In another raid at a fish market at Arambol, an alleged drug peddler from HP was caught with 1.350 kg charas valued at Rs 5.40 lakh. The police have withheld the names of the trio citing ongoing investigation.
