Two Germans arrested with liquid drug

PERNEM: Pernem police arrested two Germans for illegally possessing 64 grams of drugs suspected to be that of liquid LSD worth Rs 64 lakh at Arambol, on Tuesday.

PERNEM: Pernem police arrested two Germans for illegally possessing 64 grams of drugs suspected to be that of liquid LSD worth Rs 64 lakh at Arambol, on Tuesday.

The arrested Germans have been identified as Sergius Viktor Manka (31) and Steinmuller Sabestian (25).

According to PI Sandesh Chodankar, the accused landed in Delhi on November 13, and later came to Goa on November 21 and were putting up at Ozil guest house in Madhalawada, Arambol.

PI Chodankar informed that few days back he received a lead on the drug activity by the duo, and by pursuing the same he and his team caught the accused red handed with the drug. The police also seized cash of Rs 27,500 and two mobile phones from the accused persons.

PI Chodankar also informed that the owner of the Ozil guest house failed to fill in C form of the two Germans, as such he would be booked for the same. The PI informed that failure to submit the C Form delayed the arrest of the accused. 

The raiding team headed by PI Chodankar, included PSI Sagar Dhatkar, PC Prasad Tuyekar, Premnath Sardesai and Sandeep Gawade.
