MARGAO: The Goa Forward Party (GFP) in its State Executive Meeting has expanded its State Executive and elected Atanasio alias Babush Monseratte as its vice president along with several others. 

The decisions were taken at a State Council meeting held under the Chairmanship of the GFP President Vijai Sardesai. The following persons were unanimously elected to the State Executive of the party for a tenure of three years.

President Vijai Sardesai, Vice Presidents Anastasio Monserrate, Trajano D’Mello, Renuka Da Silva, Akbar Mulla, Durgadas Kamat; Vice President (Organisation) Dilip Prabhudesai, General Secretary Mohandas Lolienkar, General Secretary (Organisation) Prashant Naik and other appointments have been made. 

Durgadas Kamat, after being elected as the vice president of Goa Forward, said, “It’s an honour to be appointed as vice-president of Goa’s only undisputed regional front, the Goa Forward Party. I humbly thank our visionary leader Vijai Sardesai for recognising my hard-work, dedication and selfless service towards the party and giving me a greater responsibility.”
