MARGAO: The construction work of open type bandhara project at Kuscond in Village Panchayat Nuvem was inaugurated by Fisheries and WRD Minister Vinod Palienkar in the presence of Nuvem MLA Wilfred D’Sa (Babashan), Nuvem ZP member Reuben Costa, Sarpanch Elvita Costa along with other officials on Friday. 

The Rs 93 lakh bandhara project was a long pending demand of the people of Nuvem for the irrigation and other agricultural purposes. The panchayat and the people have expressed happiness over the beginning of work. 

Nuvem MLA Babashan thanked the minister for having given importance to the agriculture development of Nuvem constituency.
