ALDONA: The Aldona MLA, Glenn Ticlo inaugurated the works of laying the underground PWD water pipeline over a distance of 1.2 kilometer for the people of Ucassaim-Paliem. The work has been undertaken at an estimated cost of around Rs. 34 lakh. Speaking to reporters the Aldona MLA, Glenn Ticlo said that the tendering process was completed and they had got the work order after which the works will commence shortly. It was a long pending demand of the people of Uccasaim-Paliem as they were not getting sufficient water supply due to the low pressure. They would always come and complaint about the water crisis to the local MLA.
“Once this work is completed there will be good flow of water and the pressure of the water will also increase. I would like to thank the PWD Minister, Sudin Dhavalikar for helping us in the entire tendering process,” Ticlo added.
