VASCO: A 21-year-old youth from Karnataka was run over by a goods train near Sanvordem on Friday afternoon.

Police informed that they received information that an unknown male person was run over by a train near Sanvordem railway station on Friday afternoon and was referred to Hospicio Hospital in a critical state where he breathed his last while undergoing treatment. 

Police have identified the victim as one Basavaraj Parasappa Chaluwadi, a native of Bagalkot in Karnataka. A case of unnatural death has been registered and police is further investigating into the case.
