CANACONA: One Irfan Fakeera Shaik, a 25-year-old youth from Maharashtra presently residing in a rented premise in Canacona, was arrested by Canacona police on Wednesday for stalking and harassing a minor college girl from Canacona taluka. 

Shaik is arrested under Section 354 (D)(i) of IPC and Section 8 of Goa Children Act, 2003, after the mother of the minor girl complained that he was following her minor daughter and seeking personal interaction. The accused will be produced before the local court on Thursday, police said.
