‘CM destroying fields for development’
PANJIM: The Kul Mundkar Sangharsh Samiti (KMSS) has alleged that Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar is destroying fields under the banner of development.
PANJIM: The Kul Mundkar Sangharsh Samiti (KMSS) has alleged that Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar is destroying fields under the banner of development.
KMSS, which had said it would campaign against Parrikar in by-polls, alleged that the samiti is not being given permission to hold corner meetings.
Speaking to the media, KMSS President Santosh Mandrekar said that not just tenants, but all Goans, have lost trust in Parrikar, as he has failed to fulfill the demands of farmers.
He said that development projects have destroyed the fields and that some fields have been acquired by the government under the garb of development.
