He brews a storm

Promoting an artisan coffee brand in Goa and the rest of the country can mean a very hectic life. For Ashish D’Abreo, a resident of Bengaluru, who is now in Goa to promote coffee, maintaining a very balanced life as he tackles the challenges of being a businessman, father and husband, is very important. He spoke to AJIT JOHN about his secret formulae

He listens to all kinds of music, acts in plays and cooks breakfast and lunch before leaving for work. Ashish is a pretty cool chap. And yes, he cycled across Portugal last year for 7 days with friends. 
Ashish is up by 6.45 every morning as he prepares his kid for school. Ashish likes all kinds of food and loves to experiment though he professes to a weakness for Mangalorean cuisine. 
His hectic schedule means he does not have the time to read books; he laughs and says his wife who is a published writer does all the reading for him.  
With regards to holidays, he believes in holidays every year though he admits to visiting Goa regularly at short intervals. They have visited some of the more remote parts of Thailand and Europe and America regularly. This year they intend to visit Japan. This helps him to unwind with his family. 
As someone who loves his food, he enjoys Venite in Panjim and Anand Bar in Anjuna. With regards movies, he is a film buff with a weakness for Amir Khan and any UTV production. He watches all kinds of movies in all Indian and world languages. 
With regards to future plans he smiled and said he had not thought about it.
