PANJIM: Idea Cellular unveiled two new 3G smartphones – Idea Ultra+ and Idea FAB. Idea Ultra+ and Idea FAB will be sold through Idea’s retail channel spread across its key 3G markets including Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Kerala, Maharashtra & Goa, Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh (East), Uttar Pradesh (West), and Punjab.
Idea Ultra+ is a dual-SIM, feature packed, with a leather back finish. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad core processor and has 1GB RAM with a bright 12.7 cms (5”). It is featured with 8MP camera and the 2000 mAh powerful battery offers better convenience of use. Idea Ultra+ is priced at Rs 8,300. Idea FAB offers smooth ‘swipe typing’ feature, built in social networking apps, GPS, Wifi hotspot, Gorilla Glass, 3.2 MP camera with flash, and more. The dual-SIM smartphone is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core processor and runs on Android Jelly Bean v4.2 OS, offering superior performance on 3G and is priced at Rs 4,999.
The new devices will also come with a special offer for Idea 3G users offering 3G data benefits of 1.6 GB 3G data and Free Idea TV for 3 months, with a pack priced at Rs 259 for existing subscribers, and 1.6 GB 3G data and Free Idea TV for 3 months, with a pack priced at Rs 261 for new subscribers.
