Smatlink unveils wireless router

TEAM HERALD VERNA: Strongly advocating the nationwide ‘Make in India’ campaign, Smartlink Network Systems Ltd has launched its first indigenously manufactured DG-HR3400 wireless router at its manufacturing plant in Verna.

The company plans to target the domestic market and has priced the wireless router at Rs 1,500.
The company’s founder and chairman K R Naik said the company has been in the manufacture of electronic equipment since the last four decades.
“Smartlink is the only company with integrated products, right from designing, production and e-disposal. Smartlink has revamped its strategies which are now more customised to the ‘Make in India’ campaign, which is reflected in the packaging of its products,” said Naik.
“For the local manufacture it is a sure win-win formula, as it would require designing and manufacturing for India by India. Indian companies should create their own brands and create a market for them internationally.”
“Smartlink was set up with a vision to manufacture IT products in India for India. We at Smartlink welcome the initiative of the ‘Make in India’ campaign by the government and we want to extend our support by all means that we can. All our products are crafted and designed to bring convenience along with the best technologies for India and abroad,” Naik added.
He informed that Smartlink has been a pioneer in bringing IT networking products and technology to India and has had the distinction of being one of the first companies to start manufacturing of IT networking products.
“The company’s offerings resonate with the needs of customers ranging from enterprises to SME/SMB and SOHO to home users and from across the verticals, including government BFSI, education, manufacturing, hospitality, healthcare and retail, to name a few. Smartlink’s brand portfolio includes Digilite, Digisol and Digicare,” said Naik. The company’s two Vice Presidents, Nitin Kunkolerkar (Marketing) and Vijay Rane (Production) were also present at the launch ceremony.
