HERALD FEATURES cafe@ herald- goa. com ‘ P sychology, Study of the Soul,’ a Konkani short film by Tinky George and produced by RRG Creations, promoted and marketed by Goa Talkies was recently launched in Goa. The film revolves around the life of Michael Rodrigues, who owns an insurance company and is a man who lives a life filled with pride. Michael’s world comes to a grinding halt with news from his doctor on a deadly brain tumor that will give him a limited time to live. Faced with this revelation, Michael sets about doing right and mending his old ways. His wife and children are also affected by his behavior and are heartbroken at the thought of losing him. How does Michael decide to live the rest of his shortened life? The film deals with the human mind and how unseen circumstances can change the way it functions and how it in turn has the ability to change a person. Produced by R S Gowda under the RRG Creators banner and directed by Tinky George, the cast includes Satish Barve, Kevin D’Mello, Nazi Morajkar, Isha Hiroji, Jolly Veera and his daughter ( child actor) Tejasvi Raikar, Vishnu Marathe, Ramakrishna Fowker and Akshata Hiroji. Amol Ajgaonkar, founder of Goa Talkies is the art director and cameraman. The chief guest for the event was Vishnu Surya Wagh, St Andre MLA and the guest of honor was Dr Meenacshi Martins, a psychiatrist and renowned actor. |
