When India earned few successes post 2011 World Cup win, all flowers were being showered upon the skipper as if an individual named Duncan Fletcher didn’t exist! But whenever India suffers humiliating loses, the brickbats should definitely be reserved for the coach only and the overhyped much-pampered Mahendra Singh Dhoni needs to be backed definitely, as is being done by Sunil Gavaskar! What a classic example of ‘Head I win, Tail You Lose’ syndrome!
If Sourav Ganguly’s captainship could have been barbarically snatched away in 2005 immediately after his “sin” of leading India to a first-ever Test series win in Zimbabwe (2-0) and scoring a match-winning century at Bulawayo Test; there lies no reason why Dhoni should continue to lead India despite presiding over massive Test series losses in England and Australia (2011-12), South Africa and New Zealand and again repeating a disastrous England tour. When none other than the captain is made to understand that he has been placed above all norms of accountability, a sense of complacency will indeed creep in resulting in a deluge of failures.
Thus apart from removing the lacklustre Dhoni from the highest pedestal of captainship; the philistine culture of regionalism, nepotism, personal likes/dislikes should be immediately discarded from the BCCI set-up if Indian cricket desires to rejuvenate itself.

CM has failed
The Chief Miniser Manohar Parrikar has bluntly failed to provide corruption free and zero tolerance government to the Goans. There is corruption in every Government department.
The non acceptance of lowest bid of Katara for the supply of dental implants has proved that the Health Ministry is corrupt. The conversion of paddy field for the construction of a hotel at Curtorim by the Town and Country Department where in the Chief Minister is also the Country &Town Planning Minister has proved that the Ministry of Town and Country Planning is corrupt.
Is it possible to do all these things without greasing the hands of the concerned officials? The Chief Minister is liable to answer this. The only solution for this is to freeze, the bank accounts of the officials of the above mentioned departments.

Ban on Muthalik
I wish to congratulate everyone including the media esp. Herald, Tiatr Director Tousif de Navelim, all the Goan people who supported and voiced their concern and of course the man himself who bit the bullet – Parrikar for banning Muthalik and Ram Sene from entering Goa. This is a very important day for all peace loving Goans as it will avoid a lot of unnecessary hatred, violence and could affect tourism.
Hope we will always show the same zeal and support for many other issues which affect us and this is a good beginning of the end of the Muthaliks.

Respect women
The rape incidents in our country are going from bad to worse and almost everyday rapes are reported in the country.
Man often look at women as a commodity due to family values inculcated in them degrading women and thus we see rape incidents increasing everyday inorder to stop we usually blame the government and the police but we forget to blame our own families who have harassed and degraded our own girl child from birth and if this stops I am sure there will be end to rape incidents in our country as the rapist does come from one of the family.
