After having come under a cloud for the under-valuation issue that rocked Sunday’s BCCI’s working committee meeting in Kolkota, ICC chairman N Srinivasan is again in the eye of a storm.
If reports are to be believed the Chennai strongman had allegedly paid Rs 14 crore of BCCI money to a London-based private agency to spy on other BCCI members, tapping their phones and tracking their emails. This constitutes an intrusion on privacy and is an offence that requires to be strongly condemned.
It is apparent that Srinivasan is fishing in troubled waters and the fresh round of controversies could only raise the hackles all over again.
