This is with reference to the article “Cameras sought to spot traffic offenders”.
662 cameras for what? To trouble the public with unwanted challans? There have been several incorrect interpretation of the event happening in front of the camera and this has resulted in a wrong challan being issued. This is a clever ploy to play it safe and make you pay your fines in a court where there is limited chance of contesting matter.
Further paying your “home delivered challan” involves wasting half day. Do we have time for this nonsense? Besides this can be used as a instrument to intrude into your privacy and assist robbers commit crimes, as the component of responsibility does not exists in Goa.
