It is disappointing that subsidy on gas for consumers is taking a turn once again. Enough trouble and heartburns have been caused to the users by direct transfer into the saving accounts. There is no undertaking as to when the subsidy will be transferred. The banks mention that subsidy will be made available only when they receive and they have no control whatsoever. What is the way for the consumer to inquire if it is not received in a time-frame. Poor people are put to great inconvenience in paying the full amount and then waiting indefinitely in hope. It is more disgusting that subsidy will be available only on securing Aadhaar Card.
