Now that Goa is considered as a city instead as a State by the Centre for the smart cities project MMC have to really go very low to beg this project for Margao even though Vasco too deserve it. But Panjim city is much far developed and thus cannot be considered however most of the heavy weights of the present government are based in Panjim and Vasco. I wish our MMC chairperson good luck who is hopeful that Margao will definitely get the project. His thinking might be right to get the award since all these years the MLA and councilors have not done any development work for the Margao city and this can be justified looking at the ground reality. But who will take the lead to get the project for Margao.
