Pathetic roads

If one travels by our roads anywhere in Goa, one will think that there is not a single engineer in the state who can a built a road that can last atleast for two years. The recent death of a women at Borim in Ponda taluka due to the potholes is one example.

The PWD minister Sudin Dhavlikar should he held responsible for all the deaths  on the roads due to his negligence and irresponsibility. Gone are the days when locals were engaged in the constructions of the roads which used to last atleast for five to ten years.
Take the example of the road from the Sinquerim helipad upto Panjim via Calangute, Saligao, Sangolda and Porvorim which was hot mixed in 1983 during the CHOGH meet held in Goa and during that time  the MLAs and the concerned ministers were not  even perhaps aware of the meaning of the word ‘corruption’. I think if the roads are concretized the problem can be solved and many deaths on the road due to pot holes can be saved.
