Second to none

Our Navy and Coast Guards have once again proved that they are second to none by intercepting a Pakistani boat loaded with 232 kgs of narcotics. The capture of the boat comes on the heels of a Pakistani boat going up in fire after it was apparently blown up by its crew when the Coast Guard intercepted it in the Arabian Sea. However, it is unfortunate that a second Pakistani boat managed to give the slip.
The capture of the drug boat and the subsequent interrogation of its crew members could expose Pakistan’s darker side. A shary vigil along the maritime border with Pakistan is the need of the hour and there should not be any slackening on this front.
