I would like to express my heartiest gratitude on behalf of my fellow contestants to the Herald Group, for gracing us with this fantastic event, “Goencho Avaz-2nd edition”.
We acknowledge the entire Herald team. An event like this cannot happen overnight. The team has had a bird eye on every detail of the event. The co-ordinaters were very responsive to our doubts and gave us time to time updates of the forthcomings.
The host Agnel de Borim has done a superb job in guiding the auditions and the musical show to a huge success. Not forgetting Norman Cardozo and his amazing troupe who gave life to our singing. They certainly have done a good job in playing the tunes of all the golden oldies.
The establishment of Goencho Avaz has been a great tribute to the Konkani Mai bhas, the evergreen voices of the kantorists, composers and the legendry musicians. It has conquered the hearts of Goans, remarkably the Konkani mogis. At the same time, it has set an enthusiastic mindset to the younger generation to be inspired by Konkani music.
Thank you Herald group for making our journey of Goencho Avaz a worthwhile experience.
