Zico’s FC Goa seems to be simply unstoppable. On Friday they thrashed table-toppers Chennayin FC with consummate ease, making them favourites for the title. What is most heartening to see is that Indian players are improving rapidly. Rubbing shoulders with the best in the business has brought about a remarkable improvement of Indian players. The change can be seen comparing the first few games and the last few games of the league. FC Goa’s domestic players are a completely different lot. The same is true of the seven other teams.
