A stable government organises an overall development of the country in infrastructure like roads, highways, bridges, connectivity, education, communications, sports, defence, and utilising natural resources. Every Indian should visualise this fact, by looking at the examples of developed countries about their growth and how fast they have grown. Manufacturing and production money in China has given a boost for their overall development in all the above sectors. Similarly, oil money in Gulf countries has taken care of their growth, to come in limelight on an international platform. Otherwise, what was the economic background of China and Gulf countries few years ago, compared to Indian conditions.
India has been looted initially, by the Moghul empire and then by Britishers for hundreds of years. Presently, corruption and black money, has swallowed the blood of Indian economy. Fraud businessmen running away from the country, wealth-getting stored in the Swiss banks and in other countries, and overall corrupt structure can lead only to a skeleton economy, for our future, as we are all helpless and voiceless proud Indians. Our voices, are being used by the vested interest segment of the society, to organise strikes, morchas, and bandhs to make us citizens of a directionless country. But nobody, realises this fact, as we are a split community based on caste and religions, lack of education in remote corners and full of ignorance among the masses in the country.
The government runs on a cyclic economy. Money comes in the treasury of the government, by way of income from natural resources like mining, exports, agriculture, production, etc, and such collected money, is then spent on the growth of the country for infrastructure, education, all other developmental work and to run the government. The people running the government are the politicians of the country. The constitution of India has made a provision for different departments to collect taxes like sales tax, income tax, customs duty, excise duty, etc, and other departments work for the development of the country like PWD, water supply, electricity, irrigation, education, sports, etc. Hence, money collected by few departments is spent by other departments by proper planning of funds and making a provision of salaries, of all the departments creating employment opportunities for a larger community.
Instead of smooth running of this economic cycle of the country, politicians in driver’s seats deviate the said cycle, to their benefits with the help of mob psychology created by them. Based on the international index, the prices of petroleum products once increased, which in turn affects the prices of all other commodities, as transportation cost is the main key of price regulator. To balance the same, a ruling government has to alter the various taxes, based on the guidance of a panel of economists supporting finance ministry of the country. Provision for all responsible pockets of the governance, is the major priority in financial planning.
Politicians in opposition, to please the mob use their weapons, by raising issues like decreasing prices of various commodities and also to decrease the taxes. How can this logic balance the economic cycle? Otherwise, this lobby has to finance the government from their personal treasury to bring down the prices. Can this happen? The said lobby is also working efficiently to hamper the developmental work, by using mob psychology. If road construction is happening, their demand is to deviate such roads, take them on stilts, and whatnot.
Why double track of railways, fields are getting damaged, flood situation will develop in rains. Finally, funds available for the developments, are not allowed to be used. Other side, they promise the mob of free electricity, pension for women and unemployed as if India has a huge stock of gold resources in the government treasury. Gulf countries, with oil resources are providing such schemes to their nationals. With the great thoughts of our earlier economists and leaders, there are schemes in India of free education and scholarships and free medical treatments for a lower economy group of people.
Common man faces various problems in their day-to-day life because of the situation, poverty and corrupt bureaucracy hampering them to lead a decent life. Such an irritated segment of the society is being taken for a ride by the politicians by promising them, of reducing prices, reducing taxes, employment to everyone, and many other schemes which people always dream of. Are they aware of the economic cycle of the country? Also, criticise on the earlier government for damaging the GDP where the whole world, has faced a crisis during the pandemic; act as if they can create a miracle to increase the GDP, if they came in power. Everybody entering the politics feel that they have a huge stock of funds (Kuber’s Khazana) in India. Thinking that by utilising such funds, they can promise people that their life will be comfortable in the future if they are elected. Corruption, black money, frauds in banks, financial scandals were happening all these years and will happen in the future also, if any government comes to power. We speechless Indians, are the silent observers of the fact happening in our country and can do nothing.
We can certainly admire and support, a political party who can promise us to bring back the black money, from the Swiss banks to the Indian stream of economy. The quantum of such black money nobody can imagine, which is more than sufficient to implement any schemes to support the people of India. Today all parties are promising the agenda of, growth and development, but does anybody speak of eradication of corruption and scandals? The least rate of corruption is the only key of success of all developed countries. India being a largest country with God worshipping culture but is involved in high end scams, scandals, crime and rampant corruption without fear of any God.
