Hyundai unveils Xcent
PANJIM: Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) unveiled its highly anticipated compact sedan ‘Xcent’. The global launch marks Hyundai’s entry into the compact sedan segment in the Indian auto industry.
Xcent will be available in two engine options: Petrol and Diesel. The engines have been tuned for optimum performance and fuel efficiency. The Manual and Automatic transmission will offer the customers a wide range of options suited to their needs. The Hyundai Xcent has been developed with a focus on the Indian driving needs and lifestyles. The car inherits Hyundai signature mature ‘Fluidic design’ and style theme to meet the Indian customer aspirations. The sedan has been developed keeping in mind the requirements of Indian customers.
The spacious interiors have been designed to offer premium upmarket feel. The key highlights in the interior include; bright dual tone beige and black interiors with high quality plastic, premium designed dashboard integrated with hexagonal outlined audio, ergonomically positioned controls, generous legroom and headroom in front and rear, best-in-class boot space, multiple storage options in door trims and centre console, seating comfort – well contoured seats with excellent cushioning and rear arm rest. The feature highlights of Hyundai Xcent are Rear AC vents, Smart Key with push button start, Rear parking camera and sensors, 15″ Diamond cut alloy wheels, 2 DIN audio with USB, CD player with 1 GB internal memory, Auto folding mirrors, Electro-chromic mirror, one touch electric trunk opening.
BSNL’s roaming offer
PANJIM: BSNL has launched a nation-wide free roaming facility to its customers with a nominal charge of Rs 1 per day. Customers are required to recharge through a Special tariff voucher (STV) of Rs 90 which will allow unlimited free incoming calls for 90 days while roaming anywhere in the whole country.
The STV scheme is bound to help roaming customers as they will be able to use their home circle number for receiving unlimited incoming calls while in roaming anywhere in India. BSNL has also launched various other lucrative offers ragarding roaming. BSNL offers three ‘roaming STVs’ in addition to recently introduced STV90. Roaming STVs are for those customers who do not want to switch their existing tariff plans but wish to use features of free incoming call in roaming.
STV of Rs 5 with unlimited incoming call free in roaming and O/G local and national @ 1.5p/sec in roaming with validity of one day.
STV of Rs 33/- with unlimited incoming call free in roaming and O/G local and national @1.5p/sec in roaming with validity of 7 days in selected areas.
STV of RS 69/- with unlimited incoming call free in roaming and O/G local and national @1.5p/sec in roaming with validity of 30 days.
New STV of Rs 90 with unlimited incoming call free in roaming and O/G local and national @1.5p/sec in roaming with validity of 90 days.

RTP-FR 149: It has fixed monthly charge of Rs 149/- for postpaid customers and provides unlimited incoming call free in roaming and also 100 free minutes (Outgoing local + STD). 100 free SMS (Local + National) every month with local and STD call charges @1/min in home LSA and also while in roaming anywhere in the country.
RTP-FR 705: It is for prepaid customers and offers validity of 180 days with unlimited incoming call free while in roaming. It also provides 336 free minutes voice call. 100 free minutes video call, 200MB free data and 100 free SMS and further call charges @Rs 0.80/min for on-net local / STD and Rs 1 per minute for off-net local /STD in home LSA and also while in roaming.
