Divine protection?

Five decades ago, we had less population, both of people and vehicles. We could hardly see a car. The roads were kaccha, and were used by bullock carts. It was so difficult even to have a bicycle ride because, only the rich or affluent could afford it. Times have changed and also our life styles, we have progressed not for better but for worse?
Having a bicycle which was considered to be a prestigious possession is looked upon as a poor man’s vehicle, and so has lost its charm and value now. We can see hi-tech bikes and cars on our roads now. Roads are made wider, but lack the quality and engineering, by demolishing our houses, destroying our fields, and the greenery, the  trees. We are destroying and damaging our nature a lot by supporting the motorists.  Nature knows to strike back and it’s showing us.  We have started dying not much due to sickness and old age but road accidents. There may be a thousand reasons why we die in a road accidents but what can prevent it from happening?  I feel pity for every innocent soul who loses his/her life for no fault of theirs.
In a war, the mission of a soldier is to kill his enemy and return home alive as a hero. Although the danger and probability of getting killed in a war is greater compared to riding or driving on the roads, many soldiers have returned home safely, retired from service and have died a graceful death and may be are resting in peace. But, when we move out of our homes and approach the road, are we sure we will return home safe? Tragedy strike at us so hard and badly that we fail to return home, that’s our destiny.
Now, how can we protect our selves from these road accidents?
Either we opt to stay at home all through our lives and die in peace, or seek divine protection on the roads we move on. Now, it’s like this.
Before you leave for your destination, pray to the Almighty to protect you, your companion, your vehicle and also pray for the safety of the person coming against you along with his companions and his vehicle. Pray for the most part of your journey. If you are a believer then you will be surely  sheltered or protected. No evil will ever harm you. Happy journey always.
