It has been regretfully observed that ever since India has carried out the surgical strikes in retaliation, provoked by Pakistan, on September 28 in PoK to teach a good lesson to the terrorist nation “the mother ship of terrorism” which is our close neighbour to avenge the killings of Indian security forces in Uri and Pathankot, both the ruling as well the opposition political parties are hyping the incident for political mileage, especially keeping an eye on the forthcoming five states assemblies’ elections in 2017.
The ruling BJP-led NDA government headed by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi which came in power in the Central in May 2014, is claiming that this is the first time such type of surgical strikes have been ordered to be carried by the incumbent govt. To that the Congress party (INC) is claiming they too had carried out such type of surgical strikes many times when they were ruling, but never disclosed & claimed its credibility by keeping the interest of national security. However, the Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar has strongly objected to it and said the Congress Party is now falsely claiming/lying it afterthought for political mileage.
It may please be noted that in the present situation which is unnecessarily created & uncalled for, the Chief of the Indian Army (COAS) is the only trusted authority who can clarify the correct position as to who is correct and who is wrong and whether surgical strikes took place or otherwise during the tenure of INC’s ruling India.
In the meantime strangely something ‘new’ related to these strikes have appeared/cropped up in the newspaper in which the Defence Minister is saying the RSS ideology has inspired the surgical strikes? (really funny!) and its credit is to be given to them.
It appears that there are many false claimants who are exploiting the situation for their party’s gain. In fact the incidence of surgical strikes is only to be treated simply as the “National/Nation’s Pride” in the broader views as a whole from patriotic point of views (patriotically) and not for political gain/game. This should be noted and kept in mind by all concerned and avoid claiming it superficially for political gain to take the credit when our army is in the full process of defence preparedness & keeping vigil day and night on the border at the LoC. Let their morals be kept high.
