Terrorism activates in many ways by giving hate speeches, militant activities like bomb blasts, killing people etc. Terrorists have no religion, no humanity, they only want to create terror and fear in the minds of humans. Terrorism kills innocent people, damage properties etc.
Recently we have seen killings of liberal rationalists and thinkers. Members of Sanatan Sanstha is under the watch of NIA. Gaikwad and Patil’s involvement in these killings is well planned under Sanatan Sanstha. Sadhaks or disciples of Sanathan figures in bomb blast occurred in Margao 2009, on the eve of Diwali. Their involvement in bomb blasts in theaters in Maharashtra, murders of Kalburgi and Pansare. All this indicates Sanatan is a right-wing terror group which spreads its ideologies through there newspaper, books and by giving hate speeches which motivates their Sadhaks to follow it and training them with arms to carry violent activities. Books are published which brain wash the people.
As social activist Ramesh Gauns said that” Sadhak from lower strata of the society are trained to carry out the terror activities, for instance Gaikwad and Patil are from lower strata, their strategy is well planned.”
After continuous demands by the locals of Bandora under the banner of Janajagruti Manch to ban Sanatan Sanstha when a resolution was also passed by Bandora Panchayat in 2009, letters were given to then home minister and Chief minister, but nothing happened. Recent statement of present CM was casual and irresponsible. His duty is to get all the details of Sanathan headquarters, i.e. people from Ashram, how long they have been there? What is the ideology of the ashram, what is been taught to sadhaks, how they are trained? Also check the footage of the ashram.
Sanatan Sanstha should be banned temporarily now and as soon as its sadhaks proves guilty in the court they should be banned permanently. Such kind of organization have no place in this peace loving and secular Goa. Thank you HCN for having such a lovely debate and highlighting all the bad activities of Sanatan.
