A 21-year-old design student was allegedly chased and harassed by two men on a motorcycle before they hit her scooter and caused her to fall near Panchsheel Park Metro Station in south Delhi, police said. An FIR has been registered and an investigation is underway.
The incident allegedly took place around midnight on September 11-12, when the fourth-year student was returning home after leaving her internship office in Saket. According to her complaint, two men who appeared to be in their twenties began following her on a motorcycle and allegedly passed remarks and teased her.

The woman said she attempted to get away by increasing her speed, but the men continued following her and came alongside her scooter. She alleged that they then hit her scooter with their motorcycle, causing her to lose control and fall.
According to her complaint, she skidded for around 100 to 150 metres on a stretch of road containing stones, gravel and dust, suffering injuries in the process. The two men allegedly fled from the spot after the incident.
Passersby reportedly helped arrange medical assistance, while the woman’s colleagues reached the location after she shared her live location. She was initially taken to Max Hospital in Saket and was later shifted to Medanta Hospital in Noida for further treatment.
Police said a PCR call regarding the incident was received at around 1 am on September 12. By the time officers reached the location, the woman had already been taken to hospital. Police are examining CCTV footage from the area in an effort to establish the sequence of events and identify the alleged suspects.
According to police, a case has been registered against unidentified persons under Section 281 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, relating to rash driving. Investigators are continuing efforts to verify the woman’s allegations and identify those involved.
