Jensen Huang, chief executive of Nvidia, will not be travelling to India next week to attend the India AI Impact Summit, the company confirmed on Saturday. Huang was expected to be among the key attractions at the event, which is scheduled to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Nvidia CEO was also slated to address the media in New Delhi ahead of the summit. However, the company’s media agency stated in an email that Huang’s visit has been cancelled due to “unforeseen circumstances.” His absence is likely to be felt at the summit, which is expected to bring together global technology leaders, policymakers, and industry experts to discuss advancements in artificial intelligence and emerging digital technologies.
