Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday met veteran BJP leader and Bharat Ratna recipient Lal Krishna Advani at his Delhi residence to extend warm birthday wishes.
In a post on X, PM Modi described Advani as a “statesman blessed with towering vision and intellect,” noting that his life has been dedicated to India’s progress and democratic values. “May he be blessed with good health and a long life,” the Prime Minister added.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah also wished Advani, calling him “an inspiration for millions of BJP workers.” Former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu visited Advani personally, hailing his “patriotism, discipline, and unwavering resolve.”
Born on November 8, 1927, in Karachi, Advani began his journey as an RSS volunteer at age 14 and later became one of India’s most respected political figures.
