MAPUSA: Anjuna Police on Tuesday booked nine Ugandan nationals and a Nigerian for staying in Goa without valid travel documents.
Those booked include Madinah Nankabirna (30), Namutebi Asumin (25), Mackline Nakawuma (23), Diana Rose (28), Nawyalo Josephine (26), Nakivuba Josephine (30), Vanasa Namirebe (30), Namawejje Suzan (24), Shikila Nassuna (38) all Ugandan nationals and Tiwalade Adeyanju (30) from Nigeria.
The accused were staying at a guesthouse at Muddi in Anjuna.
Anjuna Police have registered an offence under Sections 7(1) (3) (iii) of Foreigners Order 1948 punishable under Section 14 of the Foreigners Act 1946.
