CUJIRA: In what could bring respite to students commuting to the school complex at Cujira, a fleet of 15 new buses by Kadamba Transport Corporation Limited (KTC) connecting the Integrated School Complex at Cujira with Panjim were flagged off by Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar.
“Today I am really feeling happy. The students’ council had put a demand in front of me and I had assured that these buses will soon ply from Panjim city to Cujira School complex and today the first lot will be pressed into action. The remaining will be put in service in the next one month,” Parrikar said, addressing the gathering during the inaugural of KTC buses to Cujira complex.
KTC Chairman Carlos Almeida urged students to consider the new buses as their own and not indulge in activities that could lead to destroy them.
