PANJIM: Nineteen police inspectors have been transferred, a move that comes two days after the just-promoted six deputy superintendents of police were allotted their new postings.

Crime Branch PI Jivba Dalvi has been posted to Pernem Police Station while Traffic Cell PI Brendon D’Souza is transferred to the Traffic Cell in Calangute.
Among the other Police Inspectors, Anant Gaonkar and Laxi Amonkar are posted to Crime Branch, Deepak Pednekar to Quepem Police Station, Mahesh Gadekar to Bicholim Police Station, Sanjay Dalvi to Anti Corruption Branch/Vigilance, Suraj Halarnkar to Anti Narcotics Cell, Sudesh Velip to Traffic Cell in Bicholim and Vijay Sardessai is given the charge of Agassaim Police Station.
Police Inspector Somnath Mahajik has been posted to Traffic Cell, Panjim while Hiru Kavlekar to Konkan Railway Police Station, Sherif Jaques to Verna Police Station, Mohan Gaude to Ponda Police Station, Gautam Salunke is posted to Traffic Cell, Margao; Suraj Samant to Special Branch, Rajesh Job to Police Training School in Valpoi, Vijaynath Kavlekar to Traffic Cell Colva and Tulsidas Naik to South Goa District as Readers Incharge. Goa recently saw promotion of six police inspectors to the post of deputy superintendents of police of these three are on regular and three on officiating basis.
The promotion led to vacancy of police inspectors at their previous place of posting.
