ANJUNA: The Anjuna Police arrested two persons with suspected drugs on Saturday afternoon.
During the surprise check at Vagator, one Anoob K Raghavan, 30, a native of Kerala, was found with 10.2 grams of charas and 4.5 grams of hash oil all worth to Rs 20,000.
The Investigating Officer, Vishwajeet Chodankar informed that during random checking the drugs were seized. The accused was waiting for the customer to handover the narcotics substance. In another raid near Anjuna beach, 0.9 grams of MDMA was found in possession of Eshwar Vernekar, 26, a resident of Karnataka. Investigating Officer Manisha Pednekar said that the drug seized was worth Rs 10,000 approximately.
