VASCO: Two youth were booked by Vasco Police for assaulting one middle aged person with glass bottle on December 10, late at night.
The police nabbed two persons involved while the injured person is undergoing treatment at Goa Medical College, Bambolim.
The accused are booked under Section 324 Read with 34 IPC.
The police informed that on December 10, at midnight, during the pre-wedding ceremony, in an inebriated state, two persons namely Benjamin Fernandes and Stephen De Sousa had a fight with Francis Pereira.
The complainant, wife of injured person Francis, filed a complaint with Vasco police on Saturday, stating that on December 10 late at night, Stephen allegedly assaulted Francis with fists on the face and body and Benjamin allegedly attacked with a glass bottle.
The police are investigating the case to know the exact reason behind the incident.
