2 held for damaging govt property in Panjim

PANJIM, JULY 7
Two locals were arrested for causing damage to property in the new market complex, today evening. They were shortly released on paying personal bond and local surety.
The duo has been identified as Murli Gawli of Caranzalem and Hemant Goswami of Tambdi Mati in Taleigao. They were booked under section 3 of Prevention of Damage to Public Property following a complaint filed by the commissioner of the Corporation of City of Panaji Elvis Gomes on Sunday.
It is learnt that CCP workers in their statement to Panjim police identified the accused duo, which led to the latter’s arrest.
