MAPUSA: Two Nigerians were arrested by a Calangute patrolling team for overstaying.
During patrolling, the police team questioned two Nigerians and found that the two had no passport or travel documents.
As such, the Calangute police arrested and booked the two Nigerians under Section 14 of Foreigners Act and Foreigners Entry Act.
The arrested Nigerians are identified as Ifeanyi Pascol Obi currently residing at Arambol, Pernem and Innocent Nwogbo Ifesinachi currently residing at Parra, Bardez.
The two were produced before Judicial Magistrate First Class at Mapusa, who remanded them in police custody for 14 days.
The Calangute police have also informed FRRO Panjim to intimate the Nigerian Embassy.
