2 sentenced in Sancoale workshop theft case

A Fast Track Court, Margao has convicted and sentenced to imprisonment two persons in a theft case that took place at the Sancoale workshop of Sesa Goa five years ago.
The court sentenced the two persons Krishna Kumar Oza and Sanjay Pawar to 14 month imprisonment and acquitted three of the accused persons Alam Syed, Bashir Shaik and Vaingankar. Six accused are still absconding.
The Verna police has charged the 11 accused for stealing goods worth Rs 20.75 lakh on October 31, 2005 from the Sancoale workshop of Sesa Goa.
