20 students hurt as bus skids off at Loutolim

Around 20 school students, a teacher and a parent suffered injuries after the bus in which they were travelling skidded off the road at Ambora-Loutolim and turned turtle.
The bus was carrying over 30 students when it skidded off the road and rammed against an electric pole before turning turtle.
Police said around 20 students, mostly studying in Margao-based schools, namely Fatima Convent, Presentation, Loyola, Mahila Nutan and Popular, suffered injuries. They were immediately rushed to the primary health centre and the Hospicio Hospital.
