PANJIM: State on Sunday reported 215 new cases of COVID-19 infection at a positivity rate of 6.81 per cent.
As per the bulletin issued by the Directorate of Health Services, of the total 3,120 samples tested, 215 people were detected with the infection, taking the total caseload to 1,66,098.

The day also saw, 301 people getting recovered. At a recovery rate of 96.66 per cent, till date, 1,60,548 people have been declared cured. Thus the active cases, stood at 2,511. With seven more COVID-19 related deaths, the mortality count stood at 3,039.
Of the total seven deaths, six are reported in Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC) while one was at a private hospital in North Goa.
