MAPUSA: 22-year-old Srushti Ganjekar, a resident of Betim, Verem, sustained severe injuries to her head and leg in a accident that occurred in Mapusa on Wednesday. According to Mapusa police, the bus bearing registration no GA 03 N 2287 was heading towards the Mapusa bus stand. The scooter bearing registration no GA 03 AE 4519, was also heading in the same direction; when the bus turned to the left to drop passengers and hit the scooter, which got stuck in the front wheel of the bus and dragged for a few metres. Ganjekar was immediately rushed to the District Hospital Mapusa. Police have booked a case of the driver Suhas Redkar, resident of Duler.
