A 26-year-old man, identified as Prajwal Karmalkar, a native of Kerala, lost his life in a self-accident near Duler after reportedly losing control of his scooter while crossing a speed breaker.
According to sources, locals immediately alerted the emergency 108 Ambulance Service, following which the injured boy was rushed to the District Hospital Mapusa for treatment.

However, despite efforts, doctors at the hospital declared him dead on arrival.
Further investigation into the incident is underway.
