Tata Ultra trucks launched
PANJIM: Tata Motors’ Commercial Vehicle Division launched the new Intermediate and Light Commercial Vehicle (ILCV) range of trucks christened ‘Ultra’, which offers superior technology and design that ensures lowest total cost of ownership through higher uptime because of increased driver comfort, superior aggregates and customized requirements.
Ravi Pisharody, executive director, Commercial Vehicles Business Unit, Tata Motors Ltd, said, “After the world-class range of Prima trucks, we now introduce another global standard of trucks in ILCV segment – the Tata Ultra trucks. With stylish, futuristic and smart utility features, the Tata Ultra, has been designed to fast track the consumer’s business growth and deliver a reliable, safe, comfortable, vehicle with superior performance. At Tata Motors, the core philosophy behind the launch of every new vehicle is an endeavor to modernize the Indian commercial vehicle industry.”
The new Tata ULTRA range of trucks will come in several variants with payload capacity between 5 and 15 tonnes. With its contemporary design, the ULTRA range comes packed with new generation aggregates like the reliable Tata engine, gearbox and clutch and pioneering driver-centric features like disc brakes, radial tyres, spacious world-class cabin, suspended seats, HVAC option.
Goa Healthcare Expo to
open on May 30
PANJIM: The two-day Goa Healthcare Expo 2014 being organized by Indian Medical Association Goa State, SRS Global Industry Solutions (SRSGIS) and other Associations will get underway On May 30, 2014 at Goa Marriott Resort, Panjim.
The expo will focus on the importance of investment in information technology, customized plans for different type of hospitals, data security, accessibility, availability, cost effectiveness, designing operation theatre, basics of medical gas pipeline in hospital, quality air-management system, medical equipment planning, ventilation and vinyl flooring in hospital and solution to several other aspects related to healthcare.
Seminars and demonstrations will help stakeholders understand various aspects related to the sector-from the construction of a hospital to choosing the right technology.
A seminar session on hospital construction will throw light on various technical aspects that required in a modern scenario. There will also be sessions on patient safety and infection control systems.
Next generation telemedicine, importance of digital data collection and other related topics will be covered under seminars session.
