PANJIM: The Panjim Police arrested a 31-year-old man from Taleigao for allegedly molesting and outraging the modesty of a girl by touching her inappropriately on Sunday.
According to the police, a woman lodged a complaint stating that an unknown person came on his bike and touched her inappropriately.

A case case Under Section 354 of IPC was registered against the accused and police immediately began investigating the case.
The team identified and apprehended the accused Anson Baptist Figueiredo, a resident of Taleigao, Caranzalem.
The police team headed by Panjim PI Vijay Chodankar, PSI Sanket S Pokhare, constables Ermiya Balbhadra and Sonu Gawas, all attached to the Panaji Police Station were instrumental in arresting the accused.
The case was solved under the overall supervision of Panjim SDPO Sudesh Naik and SP North Akshat Kaushal, IPS.
