PANJIM: A 33-year-old male tourist was found dead in his room at a hotel in Tonca. The deceased, Arshad Ali hailed from Amroha Uttar Pradesh. Police sources said that he died of natural causes.
It is reported that four of them had come to Goa. All four were cooks and had come down to cook for a wedding. While at the wedding venue, Ali said that he was not feeling well and returned to the hotel at night. When his colleagues returned from the wedding at 1 am Ali was found dead in the toilet.
The incident prompted swift responses from emergency services, with both ambulance and police personnel dashing to the site.
Further details have been withheld pending notification to the family.
