PANJIM: Just 37.37 percent of the students cleared the June SSC examination conducted by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE).
The examination saw 509 students passing out of the total 1362 who appeared for it. The examination was for those students who wanted to improve their percentage as well as for the failed candidates.
As per the result declared by the Board on Monday, the pass percentage of girls was 43.91 percent, while 31.58 per cent boys cleared the exam.
Of the total 722 boys, who answered, 228 cleared it while 281 girls passed the exams, held between June 14 and June 21. Total 640 girl students had answered the examination.
