MARGAO: The Cuncolim Police on Thursday booked four persons for assault, abuse, use of criminal force and breach of modesty of a woman from Bhiunsa, Cuncolim.
An FIR has been filed under Sections 504, 345, 506 (II) and 509 of Indian Penal Code upon a complaint registered by one Maria D’Souza from Bhiunsa, Cuncolim.
The complainant alleged that four persons from Bhiunsa have assaulted, abused and used criminal force on her and also breached and insulted her modesty by uttering filthy and sexual words. The incident had happened on November 16. The police have booked the four accused. Further investigation is on.
