4 of a family feared drowned in Tillari

MAYEM: Four family members from Usgao-Ponda were feared drowned, while a girl was rescued from Tillari river at Parme village in Dodamarg, Maharashtra, late Thursday evening.

MAYEM: Four family members from Usgao-Ponda were feared drowned, while a girl was rescued from Tillari river at Parme village in Dodamarg, Maharashtra, late Thursday evening.
According to reports, three members from the Aroskar family, natives of Parme, but residing at Usgao, had gone to Parme a few days back to construct a house.
Sources further informed that at about 6.30 pm, Arjun Aroskar along with his three children and a niece went to bathe in the Tillari river, when Arjun’s sons – Akash (18), Akshay (17) and his daughter Aruna (21) and niece (12) – found themselves in the grip of an under current. 
While Arjun and his three children are feared drowned, the niece named Askata Gawas was rescued.
Sources said the deceased Akshay had recently passed his SSC exam and Akash his HSSC exam. Aruna was studying to be a CA.
Sources informed that the search operation was stopped late Thursday evening and would continue Friday morning.
