MARGAO: Colva police brought four trucks at the police station for an inquiry after locals of Benaulim complained that they had come to unload goods a starred beach resort at Benaulim.
Police said the vehicles were later released without any registration of offence.
The incident occurred when some Benaulim locals spotted one of the trucks unloading goods meant for the starred hotel. They contended that the trucks cannot unload the goods since there’s a stop work order in force enforced through the intervention of the High Court.
The trucks were later towed away to police station before they were allowed to go after a preliminary inquiry.
