6 injured in mishap

Six occupants of a goods carrier sustained injuries when the vehicle in which they were traveling skidded and turned turtle at Goddemal near Balli on Tuesday morning.
Cuncolim police said the goods carrier was transport fish to Canacona from Margao when the mishap occurred.
All the six occupants of the vehicle (GA 08 V 0063) were immediately rushed to the Primary Health Centre, Balli from where they were shifted to Hospicio hospital.  The names of the injured were provided as Navraj Pagi (20), Pradeep Pagi, Rama Pagi, Prakash Pagi, Narendra Pagi and Gokuldas Pagi. They all hail from Canacona, who had gone to purchase fish in Margao in view of the Holi festivities.
