CANACONA: Four dengue and about 74 malaria cases have been recorded by the Canacona Community Health Centre (CHC).
According to CHC sources, about 74 vivax malaria cases were detected at CHC from June to November. The malaria infected patients are mostly migrants working at some construction sites and doing odd jobs, and or a few people who are ordinarily not the permanent residents of the taluka.
Four dengue cases were reported and treated along with the identified malaria infections at CHC in recent times, added sources.
